GGC Paperwork

Packing Guidelines

These packing lists provide a general guideline for all Outdoor Experiences taking place in the listed season. Depending on current and predicted weather, the location and the length of the Outdoor Experience, you may need to make adjustments to your packed items.

Safe Guide

Most of the Safe Guide paperwork has been taken care of for you, but there are a few things you need to do:

  1. Provide the SG.1, SG.2 and SG.5* to participants parents/guardians (see below for SG forms for each Outdoor Experience)
  2. Collect the completed SG.2s and SG.5s* from participants and bring them with you to the Outdoor Experience. Please note – girl participants cannot attend without completing an SG.2 and cannot participate in higher risk risk activities without the completed SG.5*.
  3. Collect up-to-date H.1s (for girls) and H.2s (for adults) and bring them with you to the Outdoor Experience.

NOTE - This paperwork does not cover transportation arranged by the Guider (i.e. busing). Learn more.

It is the responsibility of the Unit Guider to ensure these requirements are met.

*SG.5s are only required for Outdoor Experiences with high risk activities planned. The registration form and/or confirmation email will indicate where SG.5s are required.
