Girls Go Global 2019

Girls Go Global 2019This is your opportunity to be a changemaker! What kind of difference can a 12, 13 or 14-year-old make? She can make all the difference.

Where can you visit the five World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) regions, experience the flavours of international cuisine, learn about international needs and wants of youth, create lasting friendships and develop a passion for helping others? You can do this at Girls Go Global 2019. In addition to the typical camp experiences of hikes, crafts, campfires and laughter, participants will work on two advocacy projects that highlight international needs.

Register NowParticipants will learn alongside a member of the Olave Baden-Powell Society. This international organization supports the mission of WAGGGS to enable girls and young women to develop their full potential as responsible citizens of the world. Together, we will delve into global issues and create plans for impacting change. Participants will be challenged to take their newfound knowledge and experience back to their home communities and be change-makers. Life-long friendships will be made and a deeper understanding of advocacy and world issues will be our focus.
