Always Room For More
Guiding provides girls with opportunities for fun, friendship, adventure, personal and leadership development and community involvement.
You can help us grow by sharing your Guiding experiences with friends and people in your community. Help spread the word about Canada’s leading organization for girls and women!
- Create a poster that promotes Guiding
- Encourage your Unit to host a Bring-A-Friend event
- Make a Unit banner or sign and take it with you on public Unit events
- Do a presentation or speech on Guiding at school, your place of worship or to another youth or adult group
- Do a community service project while wearing your uniform
- Distribute promotional materials when selling Girl Guide Cookies
- Hand out promotional materials in your neighbourhood (download "sorry we missed you" card)
- Write a special thank-you note to your Guider(s) at the end of the Guiding year
- Wear Guiding clothing/jewellery on a regular basis
- Celebrate special occasions by sending GGC e-cards to your friends.

- Invite your friends to view our Girl Greatness campaign videos and our Join Us page (provide link)
- Invite your friends to view the film series, Perspectives on a Girl, a series of short movies by female filmmakers dealing with issues girls and young women face today.
