Through a partnership with youth leadership organization Me to We, this trip offers Pathfinders, Rangers and their Guiders the chance to participate in a local development project and explore Ecuador’s unique ecosystem, such as the amazing cloud forest.

Girlguiding UK Centenary Camp
Celebrate 100 years of Guiding along with 10,000 Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in the breathtaking English countryside. After camp, you’ll have a chance to explore London, UK.

Young Women’s Forum 2010 – England
Girl Guides of Canada is sponsoring two young adult Members to attend the Young Women’s Forum in Oxfordshire, England. This is your chance to join delegates from other WAGGGS countries in discussing how you can change the world and influence the future of Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting.
When:

World Youth Conference - Mexico City 2010
The United Nations declared the year 2010 as the INTERNATIONAL YEAR OF YOUTH; with that in mind, and to offer youth a first level importance, Mexico is calling to organize a meeting to discuss urgent issues and solutions of youth matters through all the regions in the world.
When?
August 23 – 27, 2010 Personal travel before/after event (optional)
Who?
Two adult Members (18 – 30 years old) Note: In order that as many Members as possible have the opportunity to participate in nationally sponsored international events, Members selected may participate in these events as follows:
- Once as a girl
- Once as a adult
What? World Youth Conference Mexico 2010 will bring together young people from all over the world in order to have conversations and proposals with government representatives, parliamentarians and civil society organizations to identify action priorities on youth issues to be included in the international agenda for development beyond the Millennium Goals. This forum will allow strengthening cooperation links among countries.

Independent Group Trips

Plan a trip with your unit leaders to another province or attend an international event or camp in another country!
Plan a Language and Cultural Exchange to learn another language, experience new ways of life, be part of a Volunteer Exchange in your community or a community in another province or territory in Canada, explore another city in Canada. The Society for Educatoinal Visits and Exchanges in Canada (SEVEC) offers exchange and educational trip opportunities in Canada that might be of interest to you and/or your Unit.
