In 2010, Girl Guides of Canada partnered with Black Photo Corporation on two projects—Canadian Girls Say (CGS, a “photovoice” project that enabled girls across Canada to take photos about what mattered to them in their community and let their voice be heard) and Guiding Mosaic 2010 (GM2010), our international camp for 2,300 girls from 11-17.

BMO Financial Group has been a corporate partner since 1996, supporting GGC’s Endowment and Annual Funds. In both 2006 and 2010, they were the premiere sponsor of Guiding Mosaic, an international camp for girls aged 11-17.
BMO Financial Group has a long tradition of community involvement, and supporting charitable initiatives through donations and sponsorship programs.

CIBC has been a generous supporter of GGC and its programs since 1996. CIBC assisted in the launch of Girl Zone, a safe chat room for Girls. In 2007, CIBC began supporting the Funded Units Program and continues to assist GGC in opening Units where Guiding does not exist. Currently, CIBC is supporting 5 young women in financial need to pursue their post secondary education through the National Scholarship Program. CIBC is committed to supporting causes that matter to their clients, employees and communities, with a strategic focus on youth, education and health, and employee commitment to various causes.

Dove is a sponsor of GGC’s 2011 National Service Project: Empowering Girls and has shared their tools and resources for Members to learn more about gender equality and positive body image. Throughout 2011, GGC is encouraging Members to take part in Dove's events, initiatives and to participate in Dove's online self-esteem activities.
The Dove Self-Esteem Fund strives to support positive self-esteem among girls and women so they can feel more confident and reach their full personal potential.

Energizer Canada became a GGC partner in 2010 when they donated Energizer products for 100th Anniversary celebratory events including National Rally Day and Guiding Mosaic (GM2010), an international camp for girls 11 – 17. In 2011, Energizer Canada is generously sponsoring three “Now That’s Positiveenergy” National Science Scholarships for girls pursuing a post-secondary degree/diploma with a particular emphasis in the field of applied science and technology (including chemistry and physics).
Energizer Canada is passionate about encouraging positive energy and community spirit while promoting optimism among today’s youth.

GM has been an Annual Fund supporter since 1996. GM was instrumental in helping GGC launch Girl Zone, a safe, interactive discussion board for girl Members. In 2008, GM helped GGC establish a Tree Planting Program by funding Units tree planting efforts to help beautify their school grounds and provide shade, revitalize river banks and to increase plant diversity and protect riparian zone. Since the program’s inception, 5,663 trees have been planted by girl Members.
As a responsible corporate citizen, General Motors of Canada Limited (GMCL) is dedicated to protecting human health, natural resources and the global environment.

In 2009, GGC received a PromoScience grant from NSERC to develop Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) programming for girls attending Guiding Mosaic 2010.
NSERC is a federal government agency that supports university students in their advanced studies, promotes and supports discovery research, and fosters innovation by encouraging Canadian companies to participate and invest in postsecondary research projects.

In 2006, PwC generously supported the development and redesign of the existing Pathfinder Program and book. In 2010, PwC partnered with GGC at Guiding Mosaic 2010 to help sponsor the International Environment: Global Awareness Day.

P&G has been a supporter of GGC’s since 2003. P&G has supported various projects and initiatives over the past 8 years including GGC’s Annual Fund and the Funded Units Initiative, which allows GGC to open and sustain Units within communities where Guiding does not exist.
P&G's purpose is to improve the everyday lives of the world's consumers: through P&G brands, first and foremost, but also through their support of humanitarian, educational and social cause efforts.

RBC Foundation has been a partner of GGC since 1996. This program development resulted in the creation of the New Unit Initiative where Units were opened in communities were Guiding did not currently exist. In 2006, RBC helped GGC expand this program and in 2008, their support focused on the Aboriginal communities and will continue to support aboriginal communities again in 2011.
RBC is committed to making a lasting social impact by supporting endeavours that empower organizations to make a difference and inspire others.

In 2009, GGC received a Women’s Program grant to develop Girls for Safer Communities, a program that addresses gender equality and violence against women. Currently a pilot, this program will be officially launched in fall 2011.
Status of Women Canada (SWC) promotes the full participation of women in the economic, social and democratic life of Canada. SWC works to advance equality for women and to remove the barriers to women's participation in society, putting particular emphasis on increasing women's economic security and eliminating violence against women.

Sears Canada is a loyal and committed supporter of GGC. Sears is a proud supporter of GGC’s Funded Units Initiative and was the first financial supporter of the program back in 2006. Since 2008, Sears continues to welcome Guiding Units from across Canada in their stores for Cookie Day at Sears and Registration Day.
Sears Canada is committed to helping young Canadians reach their full potential by supporting local initiatives that contribute positively to their healthy development.

The Toronto-Dominion Bank has been a GGC supporter since 1997. TD Bank has supported numerous initiatives including the launch of Girl Zone, a secure chat room for girl Members.Currently GGC is working with the TD Friends of the Environment in a two year partnership to continue the Tree Planting Program. This program empowers girls and young women to organize a tree planting or habitat restoration project in their community.
The TD Friends of the Environment Foundation (TD FEF) is a national organization, formed by TD Bank Financial Group, with a grassroots focus that funds local projects dedicated to preserving the environment.
