Girl Guides of Canada is inviting you and people across Canada to join the second annual Sisterhood Challenge!
This year’s challenge is all about your 2020 experience and what you’ve learned along the way.
Gather your sisterhood team and get ready to reflect on your 2020 year, the people who helped get you through it, and the wisdom you’d like to carry forward into 2021. It all starts November 1.
Our lives and routines have been turned upside down this year, but challenging times can show us what we’re made of. Although our spirits may feel somewhat rumpled, this past year has also reminded us of our strength and the vital importance of human connection.
Each week, you and your sisterhood team will be invited to work through guided reflections, conversations and simple activities. The goals of the challenges are to help each of us re-frame our 2020 “story of challenge” into a “story of resilience,” celebrate our collective strength and creativity, and share our gratitude for the friends and family who helped us stay connected.
To complete the challenge, you and your team are invited to join us for a special virtual campfire showcasing our shared 2020 sisterhood story on Saturday, November 28 at 7:00 p.m. (EST).
Register and download your sisterhood storybook for activities and reflection exercises. There is also a special section for GGC units.
We’ll be watching for your inspirational stories and pictures on Facebook and Instagram, so share your wisdom and let’s celebrate being stronger together!
Share your stories and photos by leaving us a comment on Facebook or tagging us on Instagram! Don't forget to use #sisterhoodchallenge.
When you’re all done, you’ll be able to purchase a special sisterhood crest from the GGC store to add to your collection and to commemorate participating in this year’s Sisterhood Challenge.
