Attention Trefoil Guiders!
You are invited to be a VIOLET BY THE RIVER on September 9, 2017 at the Miramichi Valley Bible Camp for our annual gathering and meeting.
Miramichi Valley Bible Camp is located on 16 pristine acres of the Miramichi River adjacent to the Enclosure Campground in Derby, NB. The Enclosure Campground, which is across from Beaubear’s Island, is also the site of the burial ground of some of the first European settlers to the Miramichi. This site is known as Wilson’s point. A small church has been erected here and we will have a “Scottish visitor” come to lead us on a tour. In case of inclement weather we will hold the session at the Camp Main Building.
We will have activities for all as well as music provided by a local group and,of course, a campfire.
Registration starts at 9:30am with activities starting at 10am. Refreshments will be available upon arrival and lunch will be served by Guiders and Guides from our area. Registration forms are attached to this message.
For a Service Project you have your choice of making a muff for dementia patients (pattern enclosed) or donate to the A. Margaret Adams Benevolent Fund. This was a fund we started in Marg’s name, as part of her 60 years of Guiding Celebrations. Its’ object is to help members attend special camps and events.
