You are invited to come and join us at one of three ‘Fun and Adventure in the Outdoors’ Rallies in Saint John, Miramichi or Charlottetown.
All Rallies are open to all Areas and their units! You choose where you go and have fun!
The events will be held May 13th, 2017 from 10 am to 4 pm. Registration 9-10am
Cost of the Rally is $10 per participant (note: the fee is waived for Guiders attending with units)
Participants please bring your own lunch. At the event, you will receive a crest, snack and hot beverages.
Each unit must have ratio and make sure their girls get to the event chosen.
This event is an outdoor event and participants should dress accordingly.
Challenge your girls to minimize the amount of garbage and bring a ‘litter less’ lunch. Please also bring a mug for hot drinks to reduce waste.

Saint John
Come to Saint John's Rockwood Park (10 Fisher Lakes Drive Saint John) to take place in many activities, including:
- Group Zumba –groove to your own beat and get lots of exercise while having a blast
- Bootcamp basics – get outdoors and get your heart pumping
- Hula Hoop workshop – twist, turn and learn something new
- Bubble station – we’ll supply the solution and the wands and you supply the fun!
- Rock Art – Gather inspiration from your surroundings to create beautiful rock art
- Critter dipping – Grab a net, a bucket and a magnifying glass and explore the lakes and streams around the park
- Community groups and programming – Wellness NB
- Canoeing and Kayaking
- Rockwall climbing
Miramichi
Miramichi's French Fort Cove (21 Cove Road, Miramichi) is a great place to come and visit to explore and take part in a various activities, including:
- A walking trail with activities along the way
- A scavenger hunt with volunteers to talk to you about the things you find at the cove
- Mountain biking trails (we will have bikes there) (Pathfinder and Rangers)
- Weather permitting canoeing, & etc.
- Someone from Miramichi River Assessment(learning about Miramichi's watershed)
- Learning about Fossils at the cove
- Geocaching & compass orienting
- Fishing ( it will be time for trout and also bass fishing)
- Come feed the ducks and see the beavers
- Come hear the sounds of birds, smell the flowers and feel nature at its best
Charlottetown
Come along and join in the fun at Charlottetown's Victoria Park (Victoria Park Driveway Queens Square, Charlottetown) to take part in these activities and more:
- Have a blast on the bouncy castle.
- Challenge yourself on the inflatable obstacle course.
- Become a science buff with UPEI’s ‘Let’s Talk Science’ team.
- Learn how to be ‘Adventure Smart’ with PEI Search and Rescue. Hug a tree and Paddle Smart are also there to be learned.
- Help the Rangers to ‘Save the Bees’ and plant your own flowers.
- Join Mi’kMaq elder Judy Clark in the tee pee for aboriginal activities and games.
- Check out which ‘Father of Confederation’ you are with Parks Canada, meet their mascot Parka and have your photo taken at their historic photo booth.
- You may even meet Anne of Green Gables there too!
