Cookie Receiver Information

Cookie Receiver Role

A Cookie Receiver does not have to be an active Guider, we have family members, friends, and local business owners that assist with deliveries each campaign.

  • Have a location where cookies can be stored in a clean, cool environment.
  • Be available from 9:00am - 5:00pm to accept the delivery, as we are given no set time as to when the delivery will occur.
  • Once the delivery arrives the Cookie Receiver is responsible for ensuring that no cases are damaged and that the correct number is delivered. Cases must be thoroughly inspected and counted before the Delivery Company leaves location.
  • When units come to receive their cookies, the Cookie Receiver will be provided with a document that requires all unit signatures upon pick-up. The Cookie Receiver is responsible for completing and returning this form in a timely manner.
  • All Cookie Receivers are required to complete and sign a Non-Member Volunteer application that includes a confidentiality statement and Code of Conduct. In addition you must provide a Police Records Check.
