Process for Letter of Commendation

Steps to complete a nomination:

Step 1: Go to Ontario Council’s online award nomination site and:
- Create a user account (if you have not done so already)
- Log in

Step 2: 
- Complete application
- Upload (in word format) one letter of support describing the service to Guiding

Step 3: Submit application and letter (you will receive a confirmation email to the email address you used to create your user account).

Step 4: Your award application will be reviewed by your ACL.

Step 5: An email will be sent to you once your award has been approved.

Step 6: Upon approval of the award, present Letter of Commendation, including nomination letter.
Note: The Letter of Commendation is created by the nominator. The provincial office does not send out an award package for this award. Samples of Letter of Commendation letters are available on MemberZone (login required).
