When allocating a Girl Guide Store purchase, is there an additional step?

Yes. When you allocate either a manual expense or purchase card expense, you check the box in front of Girl Guide Store on the Merchant line.
After you click Save, on the Type line, you now have Guide Store: Yes.

Can I include Girl Guide Store purchases with other receipts on one manual expense?

No. You must separate Girl Guide Store purchases. You cannot include Guide Store receipts with other stores because the taxes are dealt with differently. If you had more than one receipt for The Girl Guide Store, you can combine them. If you click the box in front of Girl Guide Store, the Merchant name will be populated.

When I make an online purchase using the purchase card, what is my billing address?

The billing address is the Ontario Council address (because the bill is sent there), which is:
180 DUNCAN MILL RD STE 100
TORONTO
ON
M3B 1Z6
Use 4169206666 as the billing phone number (no spaces).

The shipping address is your own address, or wherever you would like it shipped. Please see the Guide Store FAQs for more details.

Girl Guides of Canada merchandise is available through The Girl Guide Store. You must use a credit card. Payment cannot be made by transfer.

Action required by card holder:
  • Go to The Girl Guide Store website.
  • To pay for the order, use the unit purchase card.
  • If your limit is insufficient to cover the cost of the order, request a Credit Limit Increase (Quick Tip 12). You must have sufficient funds in your unit account to be approved.
  • During order checkout, use 180 DUNCAN MILL RD, STE 100, TORONTO, ON M3B 1Z6 as your billing address and 416-920-6666 for the phone number.
  • Use your own address for the shipping address.
  • Use your personal email address in order to receive the order confirmation email.
Effect on the unit account: The purchase card transaction will appear in the account in approximately 3-5 business days.
