Winterpalooza girls camping program

Winterpalooza

Girl Guides of Canada Ontario Winterpalooza camp for girlsGirls can sign up for a fun-filled weekend of winter activities like snowshoeing, kick sledding, fire building, quinzee building and outdoor cooking. A supportive and experienced staff team will encourage girls to challenge themselves within this girl’s camping program! An option to sleep outside on Saturday night will be available (extra gear will be provided), otherwise, participants will sleep on bunk beds in heated buildings.

This is a great opportunity for girls to experience winter camping in all its glory. All activities and meals at Winterpalooza will be provided, starting with Friday evening's snack. We will serve Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as Sunday breakfast. We will provide well-balanced meals and snacks each day and can accommodate some specialized diet requests.

Rangers are welcome to attend the Winterpalooza girls camping program in a program leadership capacity at a reduced rate. Rangers will help prepare programs, assist in leading activities and support core camp functions. Participating is a great way to earn volunteer hours for high school! Rates quoted are for current Girl Guides girl members. Non-member girls can attend these provincial camping weeks by paying the non-member fee.

If you are interested in attending as a unit (vs. individual girl) please contact camping@guidesontario.org -  sold out (all unit spaces have been allocated). Rangers must sign up as individual girls and have separate program/responsibilities.
