Who We Are
Calgary Area includes the communities of Calgary, Chestermere, Bragg Creek, Cochrane, Canmore, Banff and Lake Louise. It has the largest membership of any Area in Canada with almost 4000 girls and 1000 adults. Calgary Area Council has its headquarters at the Calgary Guide Centre, 2188 Brownsea Drive NW. This building is used for administrative purposes, girl and adult meetings, events and sleepovers. Calgary Area also has four camp properties that offer a variety of sites from year-round lodges to seasonal wilderness sites for 5 to 500 people.
