Alberta Council Guide House houses the administrative offices, library, archives and meeting rooms of Alberta Council and rents office, meeting space and overnight/sleepover space and located in Edmonton.

Orientations
Orientations are required for unit meeting bookings. Orientations can be scheduled by calling 780-424-5510 and are offered Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Sites
Hostel, room for overnight and day events (capacity: 30)
Rates: $7/person/night +$50 damage deposit
Full rental cost is due one week prior to booking. Booking must be cancelled within 48 hours or the damage deposit will not be returned. The damage deposit is refundable if the building is good order after the booking.

Wildrose Room (boardroom, day events capacity: 25)
There is no cost for renting this room for Guiding groups.

- Access to full kitchen, but no food or drink allowed in the Wildrose Room
- Cleaning supplies and garbage service provided

Gathering Space ( day events capacity: 40)
There is no cost for renting this room for Guiding groups.

Please note that booking confirmation for equipment will depend on availability. Please submit the Equipment Request form to reserve equipment for your unit or event.
Sewing Machines
Five machines are kept at the Alberta Council office in Edmonton. Five machines are kept with a Calgary custodian. If machines are not returned on time or in need of repairs, there will be a minimum charge of $100 per machine, to a maximum of $500.00. This equipment can be checked out for events at other properties.
GPS units
21 northern-based units kept at the Alberta Council office in Edmonton (seven units are the 24 Garmin e-Trex 20 type and 14 units are 15 Garmin e–Trex Legend) and 24 southern-based units kept at the Calgary Area office (all units 24 Garmin e-Trex 20). Users are responsible for providing extra batteries for activities, as battery life is not guaranteed when borrowed. This equipment can be checked out for events at other properties.
Television with VCR
There is no cost to booking this equipment. A fee will be charged if there is any damage to the equipment.
DVD player
There is no cost to booking this equipment. A fee will be charged if there is any damage to the equipment.
WAGGGS flags
A collection of flags for some of the member countries of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) complete with poles and stands. There is no rental fee. Users must arrange for pickup and delivery. This equipment can be checked out for events at other properties.
