Booking terms and conditions
Payments and cancellations
The non-refundable booking fee is due immediately after booking. Property booking will invoice the unit for the rental fee after completion of site use, and due within seven days of the booking. If the Indoor Return to In-Person Guiding Stage is in effect, group will pay the indoor rate even if they choose not to use the building.
Units must email ANY-PropertyBookings@girlguides.ca to cancel a booking. The booking fee is non-refundable. The rental fee is refundable until 45 days prior to the date of site use. If a unit cancels their booking less than 45 days prior to the date of site use, they will still have to pay the site rental fee unless another group can be found to take over the booking.
If a rental has to be cancelled for safety reasons or travel is not recommended, the unit can reschedule to another available date within the current calendar year. If the region is in the Virtual and Anytime Guiding Return to In-Person Guiding stage as of the date of use, the booking can be transferred to a future date and different site if desired with no additional booking fee. For consideration for a refund or re-schedule, contact ANY-PropertyBookings@girlguides.ca.
All rentals are for day use only. No overnight use permitted. Saturday and Sunday rentals are 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Weekday rentals Monday to Friday are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Evening rentals on Monday through Friday are 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Evening rentals are not offered on Saturday and Sunday.
Payments are transferred directly from the booking group's GGC Nationwide Banking Account on the Due Date(s) listed in the confirmation email. Please ensure your account has sufficient funds. If you have rented equipment, the total cost may be affected by your actual number of participants and/or equipment use. In this case, the cost will be adjusted as applicable, when you notify ANY-PropertyBookings@girlguides.ca of your actual equipment usage. If this notification is received after payment date stated in your invoice, the balance amount as stated in the invoice will be taken out of the Unit Banking Account and the appropriate payment adjustment will be made separately and directly to the unit account at a later date.
