Change Maker Award

Awards for Guides (ages 9-11)

Lady Baden-Powell Award
This award gives girls the opportunity to learn more about Girl Guides and gain a deeper understanding of the global sisterhood of Guiding. The Lady Baden-Powell Award is the highest award a Guide can earn.

The Guide Camping Awards can be earned as Guides explore the outdoors through camping. Beginning with the Camp-Out Award and culminating in the Experienced Camper Award, Guides will build skills and experience in one of the most exciting and loved parts of Guiding.

• Camp-Out Award
  The requirements for this award may be completed in an outdoor camp-out setting in a backyard or in a tent at a campsite.
• Basic Camper Award
  This award may be earned at an overnight, weekend or a multi-night camp. One camp consists of two consecutive nights. Camping should be done in tents.
• Experienced Camper Award
  Camping for this award is done in tents. Guides spend at least four nights in tents to earn the award (the requirements are often completed at more than one camp).

Awards for Pathfinders (ages 12-14)

Community Service Award
The Community Service Award is an opportunity for girls to find out what’s going on in their community and learn how they can make a difference in the lives of others.

Citizenship Certificate
Earning the Citizenship Certificate demonstrates that Pathfinders actively care about Canada and the people around them.

Canada Cord
The Canada Cord encourages girls to meet new people, learn more about themselves and their abilities, and put their leadership skills into action. It is the highest award a Pathfinder can achieve.

Awards for Rangers (ages 15-17)

Ranger Service Project
The Ranger Service Project is designed to help girls use their skills, creativity, and passion to make a positive contribution to their community.

Cookie Campaign Challenge
This challenge is designed to support girls in developing skills in event planning, money management, communications, public speaking and teamwork.

Trailblazer Leadership Award (Bronze, Silver, Gold)

This prestigious award is the culmination of a Ranger’s work as a youth member. The award recognizes a Ranger’s outstanding achievement and commitment to the Vision, Mission and Values of Girl Guides of Canada. The Trailblazer Leadership Award is the highest award a Ranger can earn.

• Trailblazer Gold Award Letter of Congratulations
  
  Rangers who have earned their Trailblazer Leadership Gold Award may receive letters of congratulations signed by the Guiding Ambassador. If a request is received before the date of presentation, the letter will be mailed to the Guider. If a request is received after the date of presentation, the letter will be mailed to the Ranger.
