In 2026, Québec's Provincial campsite, Camp Peaceful Waters, will be celebrating its 100th anniversary. Established in 1926 on the beautiful shore of Lac Bouchette, this memorable campground has been home to countless numbers of Girl Guides. Nova Scotia Council has been invited to send one patrol to Quebec for this exciting camp!
Voilà Québec! 100 activities will include canoeing, cooking, games, hiking, swimming, boating and two out-trips.
Camp Peaceful Waters is an established tent camping facility providing all the infrastructure needed for a week of forest life. Campers will experience Québec culture, language and heritage in an intimate community camp with 100 Guiding sisters. Campers will complete program work and a special camp challenge. Adventure awaits with two outings: St. Sauveur water park (largest in Québec) and a day trip to Mont Tremblant village and a climbing adventure course*.
The Nova Scotia Council is sponsoring a patrol of eight youth members, aged 13-18 at the time of the trip, and two Guiders.
