Event Registration Terms and Conditions


Payment

Unit Registration Payment
Units that wish to register for events must pay using the centralized banking system. If there are insufficient funds in a unit's account to cover the cost of an event, the unit will be notified and the registration may be cancelled if payment is not received prior to the start of the event. Payments via centralized banking do not take place automatically; please allow up to 5 business days for processing.

Individual Registration Payment
If an event permits individual registration, payment by credit card is preferred (Visa/Mastercard).

If an individual needs to pay by cheque or money order, the individual must submit payment along with this form outlining the event name, event date, and their contact information. The event staff will contact the individual upon receipt of the form to complete the registration process. Payment must be received before individuals will be registered. In the event that a cheque is returned (NSF), the individual will be responsible for an administration fee of $25. 

Changing or cancelling your registration
 
To make an amendment to a registration that was already submitted via the calendar, please complete this form.

Refunds
All requests for a refund must be submitted via this form. A full refund will be issued up until 30 days from the event start date. After this time no refunds will be provided without medical documentation, or if extenuating circumstances (i.e. death in the family) apply. Refunds are provided via the same method used to pay for the event. If an event is cancelled by the event planner, a full refund will be issued.
 
Waitlists
 
All requests to be placed on a waitlist must be submitted via this form. All requests will be processed in sequential order and in accordance with the number of spaces that have become available. A member of our event staff team will contact you via email only if space becomes available for yourself or unit. If you are contacted, you have two business days to confirm whether or not you are still interested. After this time, if no response has been received, in fairness to others who are on the waitlist, the spots will be opened and another unit/individual will be contacted. Please note that payment is expected to be available upon registration.

Registration deadlines
 
Event registration deadlines are included in each event’s posting on the calendar. No registrations will be accepted after the event’s registration deadline has passed.
