Outdoor Experience planned programs for units

Thank you for a great 2021-2022 year of Outdoor Experiences! Girl Guides of Canada, Ontario Council will once again be offering Day and Overnight Experiences for the 2022-2023 Guiding year. Outdoor Experiences are a great opportunity to create lasting memories with your unit. Take part in an Outdoor Experience today!

All the program planning and facilitation, food service* and Safe Guide paperwork† has been done. You just supervise your girls to Safe Guide ratio and ensure a Guider has valid First Aid qualifications. Financial Assistance** is available for eligible girl members.
*Food service not provided for day-only Outdoor Experiences.
** Financial assistance is only available for Overnight Experiences.

Things to know:

  • Professional third-party staff will take care of the program facilitation and food services* for you.
  • GGC staff take care of the Safe Guide Paperwork. You just need to distribute and collect forms. Visit the Terms and Conditions page to learn more.
  • Participating units are responsible for meeting Safe Guide ratio and require a valid First Aider.

Financial Assistance is available for eligible girl members attending Overnight Experiences.

 *food is not provided in day experiences

Fees for Weekend Experiences

  • Girl registrants: $141.25 ($125 + HST)
  • Adult registrant within Safe Guide ratio: $0
  • Adult registrant outside of Safe Guide ratio: $141.25 ($125 + HST) if able to accommodate within the capacity of the facility.

Fees for Day Experiences:

  • Girl registrants: up to $15.00
  • Adult registrant within Safe Guide ratio: $0
  • Adult registrant outside of Safe Guide ratio: up to $16.95 ($15 + HST), depending on the experience, if able to accommodate within the capacity of the facility.
