Anniversary Camp Toolbox
Camp Peaceful Waters celebrated its 90th anniversary in 2016. So, to encourage all of our members to enjoy the outdoors and our beautiful camp, we have prepared an
example schedule for a weekend camp for you to use. Please adapt it for the age/branch of your campers.
While there have been a lot of changes in camp equipment over the last 90 years, many of the activities that Girl Guides do at camp have remained the same. We still love to hike, swim, sleep in tents and cook outside. Most importantly, the girls make friends and gain self-confidence and self-reliance. We have tried to incorporate Girl Guide traditions into this weekend camp and hope that, just as Girl Guides did 90 years ago, the girls will love camping at Camp Peaceful Waters.

Camping Connections
Would your District/Unit like to go to camp but you don’t have the numbers?
Is your District/Unit having a camp that has room for a few extra girls or Guiders?
Would your Unit like to camp but you do not feel comfortable taking the girls on your own?
Does your District only have one Guide Unit (for example) and you would like to camp with another Guide Unit?
The Camping Committee would like to help connect Districts/Units so they can help to make camping possible for all!.

Camping Committee and we'll place your 'ad' in The Piccolo. Be sure to include your branch, number of girls/Guiders, dates that you would like to camp or are planning to camp, and a contact email address.
