Book a Site or Equipment at Heritage Lake Provincial Camp
Heritage Lake Camp, known fondly by all as "Heritage", is operated by the Girl Guides of Canada – Saskatchewan Council. Nestled in the trees off the sandy beach of Heritage Lake, this camp is a great place for outdoor activities. Located about an hour’s drive north and east of Prince Albert, this is the perfect site for all GGC members.

General Information
Please note that when you book at Heritage Lake camp, your booking includes all sites listed below. Arrangements can sometimes be made for more than one group at a time. Please contact SK-propertybookings@girlguides.ca for more information.
Guiding groups rates:
Overnight booking rates: $50 deposit + $5/person/day (less $50 deposit)
Day booking rates: $50 deposit + $5/person/day (less $50 deposit)
- No telephone and cell service may not always be reliable
- No running water; water is accessible from the well with a hand pump. In winter, groups should bring their own water – the well water may be frozen
- Barrel burners are to be used for heating water, six regular raised fire boxes for cooking on site
- No indoor flush toilets – outdoor foot flush toilets only
- Sandy beach with marked swimming area or for canoeing
- Groups are required to take garbage and recycling home
- Balls, pool noodles, skipping ropes and other sports equipment
- Shared firepit with benches with firewood provided
- Liquid disposal units
- Picnic tables and covered shelter
- Propane BBQ (requires 20 lbs propane tank)

- Wheelchair access is limited. Ramps are available, however trails and access to the beach are limited
- Split and dried firewood provided in the woodshed

Sites
Friends of Heritage Lodge (overnight and day capacity: 24)
- Heated wheelchair accessible lodge with deck
- Six bedrooms with two sets of bunk beds with mattresses
- Year-round wheelchair accessible outdoor latrines
- Main area/common room for games, crafts, etc, with tables and chairs
- Kitchen with refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, cooking equipment, cleaning supplies, clothes drying rack, and dishware
Main Lodge
- 10 tables with chairs and benches to seat 40 people
- Wood stove
- Two refrigerators, one with a freezer, electric stove, propane cooking stove with two ovens, six burners and griddle, microwave, kettle, cooking equipment and cleaning supplies
- Water cooler available for 20L jugs
- Designated first aid centre available with some first aid supplies
Wilderness Tenting Site (overnight and day capacity: 40)
- Groups are required to put up thier own tents
- Kitchen with refrigerator, stoves and other kitchen equipment available in the Lodge
- Year-round wheelchair accessible outdoor latrines
- Outdoor hand pump for well water; barrel burners are to be used for heating water; six regular raised fire boxes and BBQ grills for cooking on site
- Tables and benches available in the storage shed for outdoor use
- Picnic tables and portable dining shelter

Please note that booking confirmation for equipment will depend on availability. Please submit the Equipment Request form to reserve equipment for your unit or event
- Canoes and Life Jackets: There is no cost for Guiding groups to rent this equipment. There are six canoes available for rent.
- Tents: There is no cost for Guiding groups to rent this equipment. Eureka (8), Light Blue (5), and Monashee (3) tents are available for rent.
Booking Terms and Conditions
Payments and Cancellations
The deposit is due immediately after the booking is confirmed. The remainder of the per person rental fee (minus the deposit) will be transferred the first Friday after the booking date.
