GGC, Alberta Council runs a number of summer camps between July and August each year for registered GuidesPathfinders, and Rangers from across Alberta, the Northwest Territories and Yukon.

Join us for a fun-filled weekend in the outdoors with new and experienced Rangers and Guiders. Gather with old friends, meet new ones, and learn new skills. Our perennial theme is SKILLS:
Sharing, Knowledge, Inspiration, Leadership, Laughter, Something for everyone

Sessions include: Geocaching, Night Caching, Sewing for Camp, Yoga for Hikers, Hiking Sticks, Playing with Fire, Campfire Magic, Outdoor Cooking, Dutch Ovens, Introduction to Adventure Camping , Archery, Leatherworking, Gadgets, Knots, Compass, Orienteering, Art in the Park, Plant Identification, Camp Prep, Games, and a Pub Quiz. Once again, Wild By Nature is facilitating these fantastic sessions: Advanced Compass, Willow Sauna, Fire by Friction, and Wilderness First Aid. We also offer the OAL Stream with all Residential and Tent modules.

Time:  September 21-23, 2018
Place:  Deer Valley Meadows, Alix, Alberta

Cost:  Rangers (any year) $105.00
           Session Leaders     $105.00 (must lead 2 or more sessions to be eligible for discount)
           Adults                      $157.50

Includes:  All meals, sessions, t-shirt, crest and indoor sleeping accommodations.  Bringing your own tensts/RVs is optional
