Nationally Sponsored Trips

All 2020 National Sponsored Trip applications have now closed. You should be notified in the coming months if you’ve been selected to participate on a trip. Good luck to anyone that has applied.

Provincially Sponsored Trips

Alberta Council is sponsoring a trip to the Sangam World Centre in Pune, India, July 20-August 3, 2021. 12 youth members, 16-18 years old (on the first day of the trip), and 3 Adult Members will have the opportunity to travel to India and explore some of India’s main sights such as the Raj Ghat, the Taj Mahal and Jantar Mantar. You will travel by plane, train, rickshaw, coach bus, jeep and camel to see these sights plus many more!

In order to qualify, participants must be active members of Girl Guides of Canada–Guides du Canada (GGC) in Alberta, Northwest Territories and Yukon, return for the 2021-22 Guiding year and must have a minimum of two nights camping experience at the Guide level or higher.

Youth and Adult Member are now being accepted. Each member must complete the entire application, including two references, by the application deadline. Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted.

Completed applications must be submitted online by Sunday, December 15, 2019 at 5 p.m. MST. Applications submitted by other methods will not be accepted.
