New Guiders

We’re writing to ensure you have everything you need to complete the New Guider Learning Path. As you may know, the New Guider Learning Path is a series of five courses that prepares Guiders to lead their units. All Guiders are required to complete these five courses within their first six months of joining a unit. You can complete the courses in a way that works best for you. Choose the method that suits your schedule and preference – online, webinars, or a combination.

Virtual: Complete the courses at your own pace when it’s convenient for you. All the e-courses are available on Member Zone (under Training – New Guider Learning Path).

Webinars: Check the Alberta Council calendar for dates and to register.

Commissioner Training

We will be virtually presenting 2 streams of training this Fall: Getting Started for new Commissioners, More Depth for second year Commissioners.
