Girls First Webinars

Alberta Council continues its series of webinars for Guiders in July, August, and September. The registration forms list available course dates for each session.

The first one: Introduction to Girls First covers the program basics and is open to Guiders from all branches. It will look at the WHY and WHAT of Girls First. Trainers record attendance in iMIS. To register, click here.

Unique to Alberta Council, the second webinars are Branch specific and cover HOW to introduce Girls First into your unit. You must complete the Introduction to Girls First Webinar or attend a one-hour face-to-face session to register for a Branch specific session. These webinars are not mandatory, but they will help you introduce the program in your unit. Attendance is recorded in iMIS.

Each webinar caps registration at 60 participants. Watch for more webinar dates in the upcoming months. If you have questions about Girls First, our Champions are ready to hear from you. Feel free to connect with them via email at gfsupport@albertagirlguides.com or on the Girls First for ANY (Alberta, NWT, Yukon Girl Guides of Canada) Facebook page.
