About This Opportunity

As part of the national Marketing and Communications team, the Email Marketing Communications Specialist will report to the Team Lead, Provincial MarComm Support and will work cross-functionally with internal teams to strategize, develop, and manage effective communications, meeting our girls, caregivers, volunteers and potential new members where they are and ensuring they have the necessary information to make the most of opportunities within Guiding.

This is a unique role that blends both skills in direct email marketing and understanding of consumer journeys with the storytelling ability of a communications professional. You will be developing compelling emails and email journeys to drive new member acquisition as well as ensuring current members and families are connected with Guiding initiatives throughout the year. With a strong attention to detail, a dash of creativity and a level head under pressure, you will be very successful in this role.

Roles and Responsibilities will:

  • Provide strategic counsel in the development of integrated email communications strategies for members, caregivers, volunteers and external audiences with a particular focus on member retention and new member acquisition.
  • Develop end-to-end email campaigns, set triggered messages, manage list segmentation strategies, develop and execute automated journeys for lead generation.
  • Imagine, design and create compelling visuals and copy to engage target audiences with clear calls to action.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of email deployments, provide regular performance reporting and full campaign analysis, and make ongoing recommendations, including but not limited to, metrics analysis, A/B testing, enhanced use of graphics, updating templates and editorial goals, etc.
  • Capitalize on strong knowledge and understanding of GGC’s mission and programs to effectively communicate the organization’s value proposition to audiences.

Reporting to the Manager, Accounting, the Team Lead, Accounts Payable is responsible for the oversight of the Accounts Payable team to ensure efficient payment processes for the organization.

The Team Lead, Accounts Payable will:

As part of the national Marketing and Communications team, the Provincial Communications Coordinator will report to the Team Lead, Provincial MarComm Support and will work cross-functionally with internal teams.   • For both the spring and fall cookie campaigns, monitors the campaign implementations and ongoing results against plans and goals; ensures all Nationally provided deadlines are met.

About This Opportunity

Reporting to the Chief Stakeholder Relations Officer in this role, you will be part of the Registration & Stakeholder Relations Team. As an Administrative Coordinator supporting Registration & Stakeholder Relations you will have excellent organizational, communications, and administrative skills. In this role, you will:

  • Provide direct administrative support to the Chief Stakeholder Relations Officer including flow of communications, meeting management (scheduling, agenda preparation, tracking tasks), document preparation (presentation materials, memos), and following up on action items assigned to the CSRO and direct reports.
  • Continuously seek out efficiencies to make processes easier, including introducing consistency across the Registration & Stakeholder Relations team’s administrative functions.
  • Take initiative to complete action items assigned to the CSRO, including preparing draft content (e.g., responses to letters/e-mails, presentations, memos, etc.) on behalf of the CSRO.
  • Collate and compile information for projects and meetings as required.
  • Coordinate and support creation of Registration & Stakeholder Relations bi-monthly meetings, agendas and materials.
  • Provide support to coding and processing department payables.
  • Gather content, format, and copy edit materials for newsletter submissions.
  • Create and maintain electronic filing systems and SharePoint sites and support the implementation of new technology and systems.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and coordination of senior volunteers and committees that work with the Registration & Stakeholder Relations department.
  • Liaise with other departments as required, working collaboratively to solve issues and develop ideas for process improvement.
  • Foster and maintain strong internal client relations with staff and volunteers.
  • Apply organizational policies regarding diversity, inclusivity and equity to content, member communication and customer service.

About This Opportunity

Reporting to the Chief Stakeholder Relations Officer in this role, you will be part of the Registration & Stakeholder Relations Team. The Membership Data Analyst measures, tracks, and analyzes GGC’s membership data. This role is key in identifying trends and generating insights on GGC’s strategic priority of membership growth, contributing to data-driven decision making. The successful candidate will have a passion for analyzing data, building scenarios/models to answer key questions, discovering key insights, and articulating findings to stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

  • Monitor and report on external trends in population growth and other demographic data, identifying impacts and opportunities to GGC’s membership growth targets.
  • Identify gaps in GGC’s data and reporting infrastructure, including how the organization looks at data holistically, and makes recommendations for addressing gaps.
  • Analyzes internal and external data to forecast and reforecast membership numbers and creates modelling for GGC’s membership growth targets.
  • Designs and implements a forecast cycle and uses it for agile planning.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data to prepare reports for stakeholders.
  • Communicate data findings in visually engaging presentations, telling compelling stories grounded in data.
  • Manage GGC’s member segmentation, created using Environics Analytics, to inform marketing strategies.
  • Build and nurture a community of practice at GGC with other staff who also work on data and research at GGC.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to identify their data needs and make recommendations for how best to provide data, generate insights, and report findings.
  • Designs the frameworks, templates, and dashboards for tracking membership data and ensure key stakeholders are equipped to use them.
  • Create strong relationships with staff and volunteer leadership to build capacity in understanding and using data in good decision making.
  • Creates action plans and tracks progress by identifying data analysis needs and developing data visualization and action-oriented insights to drive decisions.
  • Identifies emerging barriers and issues to GGC’s data analysis capabilities, and actively communicates these to key stakeholders for short- or longer-term actioning.
  • Develop and maintain robust data models, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to facilitate data-driven decision making across the organization.
  • Continuously assess and enhance data quality and integrity to ensure accuracy and reliability of insights.

You are the ideal candidate if you have:

  • Post-secondary education in business, marketing, statistics, data analysis/science or other relevant discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • 3 years’ experience working in data analysis and/or business intelligence.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g., Python) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI) to analyze and present complex data sets.
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills with a demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for stakeholders with varying comfort using data.
  • Exceptional PowerPoint experience and ability to create engaging visual representations of data.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills combined with strong listening and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to build relationships and positively influence various stakeholders.
  • Action-oriented and motivated by finding or recommending solutions to barriers and reaching strategic goals.
