2018 Newfoundland and Labrador Youth Conference

This year the theme is “Anywhere She Wants To Go!”. The Youth Council wants to show Members that they can go anywhere they want to without letting anything hold them back; as well as educate Girls on the issues their fellow women are facing in today’s society. By the end of the weekend your sides will hurt from laughing so hard, your hearts will be bursting with all your new friendships, and your head will be full of ideas for your bright future ahead!
There will be guest speakers to address issues women face, including topics that girls may be uncomfortable bringing up such as sexual health and mental health. There will be fun activities to inform girls on struggles faced by women in countries where food and clean water are not abundant. The Youth Council will show that women's issues do not have to be whispered about but can be openly spoken of. The stigma must end, and girls must be empowered to lead their fellow women to freedom. After a weekend at Youth Conference, girls will truly believe that they can go anywhere their heart desires!
