The Program department promotes branch specific program activities for girls, providing Guiders and all other volunteers with resources to run successful programs and activities. The Program department is committed to ensuring all volunteers are prepared to run the best unit meetings and events to assist every girl and youth member in exploring their own abilities.

Lones
Lones is a program option that enables girls and youth who cannot attend an in-person unit to participate in Guiding. Girls in Lones complete their program primarily on their own and through flexible, virtual or other delivery formats in communication with the Lones Guider. Enter the NL provincial crest design contest
All members can design NL Council’s new provincial crest that will be available for units and districts to purchase.
Designs should highlight what makes Guiding in NL special, such as activities, geography, environment, animals, etc. The crest can be any shape and must include only one Girl Guide Trefoil.
The creator of the winning design will receive a Guiding goodies package, 10 crests and a crest for each member of their unit. Submit your designs to nl-communications@girlguides.ca by September 30.
