The Provincial Youth Forum provides input to NS Provincial Council on the issues impacting girls' lives. Through consultation with other girls and youth, the Council dives into what matters to girls and ensures that their voices and perspectives are front and center in decisions shaping the future of Guiding. The Provincial Youth Forum consists of 4-6 Rangers from across Nova Scotia. We meet in person, virtually, and by email, and plan events and challenges for girls, by girls.
Are you registered as a Ranger for the 2021-2022 Guiding year? Do you have what it takes to speak up and represent other girls in Guiding? Consider joining the team!
Questions can be forwarded to our NS Provincial Youth Member at ns-youth@girlguides.ca.

What comes after Rangers/Trex?
There are many paths you can take in Guiding, after you have completed your time as a youth member! Until you turn 19, however, you will not be considered an adult member in Guiding, which means you still have some time before you can become a full-fledged Guider. During this transition period of your Guiding journey, you’ll be what we call a “Bridging Member”. This means you still have “girl” status, as opposed to “adult” status, in Guiding and therefore you have unique options available to you. Because we want you to stay involved in Guiding, registration for Bridging members in Nova Scotia is completely free!
