Community Service

Community service, both locally and globally, is an essential component of the program work we do. 

Québec Girls in Service to their Communities

  • Pincourt District created a handmade glass mosaic of Flanders Fields for the veterans of Sainte-Anne’s Hospital for Remembrance Day.
  • The 1st Mount Bruno Pathfinders from Des Montérégiennes District volunteered behind the scenes of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Québec’s Light the Night Walk.
  • Saint-Lazare District helped landscape the Jack Layton Park in Hudson and participated in its inauguration.
  • Riverview District held its an annual walk for breast cancer prevention awareness.
  • Lakeshore District participated in Yellow Fish Road, an initiative of Trout Unlimited Canada to raise awareness about water protection and conservation.
  • The 1st Richelieu Rangers from Des Montérégiennes District volunteered for a day at a local women’s shelter.
