Our council is seeking a new Deputy Provincial Commissioner (DPC) to shape the future of Girl Guides over the next three years. Girl Guides of Manitoba is currently recruiting for the position of Provincial Treasurer. The Provincial Treasurer is responsible to oversee, manage, and monitor the financial affairs, including all budgeting and policy compliance of GGC monies, investments, and assets of the Provincial Council. Please note: While CPA designation is preferred for this position, it is not required.
The Member Services Coordinator provides coordination and support to the provincial Training, Membership, and Public Relations/Communications Advisers. Emphasis is on planning activities and events which promote GGCs strategic plan and help to support current Guiders and to grow Guiding membership.
The Cookie Adviser works with the Provincial Treasurer on cookie program matters, manage cookie orders and logistics. Additionally, they liaise with the National Cookie Department, collaborate with other provincial advisers, review cookie inclusion in girl programming, and ensure alignment with GGC's strategic priorities.
