Registration for the 2018 Fall Workshop and Ranger sleepover has ended as of October 10th, 2018
Mark your calendar now and plan to attend the Fall Workshop in Rothesay, NB. This year’s host is Kennebecasis Area, and they are working hard to make the event great for everyone. The Girl's First Champions will be on hand and ready to lead us into understanding more about the new program.
After you register on Friday evening, plan to be amazed by the Provincial Committee displays, and then make your way to the sessions – active, fun and round table discussions are planned for all levels of Guiding.
Following the Opening Ceremony on Friday evening, everyone is invited back to the Amsterdam Hotel for a meet and greet, hosted by the Girl's First Champions. Please join us to talk with your Girls First Champions, Provincial Commissioner and her Deputy along with other members of the Provincial Council. Laugh, share and enjoy in the Sisterhood of Guiding!
On Saturday there will be three double sessions in the morning on Girls First as well as Saturday afternoon. Everyone will be given a chance to attend these sessions.
Other sessions will be available so you can learn, share and have fun. Check out the schedule, chose your sessions and get your application in. People will automatically be placed in the GF sessions first, then your individual sessions. Some have a cap on them so the longer you wait, the less chance of getting in.

Service Project
Toys for KVDVO
We are supporting the Kennebecasis Valley Domestic Violence Outreach. The KVDVO is a free outreach service that assists those that are affected by domestic violence in the Kennebecasis Valley and surrounding areas. They provide support and services to women who need help dealing with domestic violence . They are currently working on a project that will create a “soft interview room” at the KV police station. This will be a room for victims to give statements in. Right now they’re not very trauma-friendly - same rooms for victim and accused, and they’re far from calming. One of the things they want to do is have a cart of children’s toys/activities that can be wheeled in and out depending if there are children involved or not . They are asking for toy/activity donations to help fill this cart .
