NS Understanding Adult Learning

Understanding the Adult Learner:

When someone asks you for directions, do you find yourself drawing a map, describing landmarks, or saying "follow me"? Has anyone ever tried to show you something, but in a way that makes no sense to you?  People like to give and receive information in a variety of ways. The Understanding the Adult Learner module gives Guiders insight not only into the different ways in which we learn, but also how adults differ from children in their learning needs. A great learning opportunity for any Guider who works as a part of a team (which we think means it's a great learning opportunity for all Guiders).  This module also serves as a prerequisite for the Trainer Stream.

We will be offering this module before the Trainer Stream is offered in April.

UAL will be offered Face-to-Face at Guide House on Saturday, March 25th from 1:30-4:30pm. . There is no charge for the training and participants will be reimbursed for their mileage.
