Your Pandemic Experience activity, Step 1: Personal reflection
Choose 1-2 questions in each category (Your Inner World, Creativity and Innovation and Connecting with others) to answer with words or pictures.
For example, you can create a collage, paint, or draw your answers.
Your Pandemic Experience activity, Step 2: Guiding reflection
Choose 2-3 words that are meaningful or stand out to you and use them to create a reflection on your Guiding experience during the pandemic.
Make sure to include some activities you are looking forward to doing in upcoming months during virtual meetings.
Optional: Looking forward, reflecting back
Ontario Council wants to hear what you are looking forward to in your Guiding future - whether that's the next time you meet with your unit in person, the next time you camp together, or the next time you can get together with a larger group in your community.
Download, print or type in the GGC cellphone worksheet to “text” a reply to Ontario Council, to tell us what your Guiding future might look like! Feel free to use words and pictures, too (and bonus if you include some emojis!).

Connect with Ontario Council using the
Staying Connected Online Submission form. Once we receive your submissions, a digital letter from the Provincial Commissioners will be issued and you will be eligible to order the crest!
Note: If you are attaching a photo or video including your face or faces of others in your unit, please confirm that you have a signed “yes” image release form (IR.1) on file with GGC (
ask your Guider to check the unit roster!).
Encourage girls to choose questions and words that relate to them and their experience with Guiding during a pandemic.
After you finish the activity, ask for volunteers to share their reflections with the group. Do you have similar answers to someone else? Different answers? Discuss why this might be.

Note: The past year has not been easy for a lot of people. This reflection might be a bit tough or bring up some feelings. That’s totally okay. If you need support, check out some helpful resources.
