Isabella W.
"Hello! My name is Isabella and I am a member of a Ranger and TREX unit. My earliest memories of Girl Guides were made in Embers and I have been passionate about it ever since! For me, Girl Guides has been a place to find kind and authentic friends, step out of my comfort zone and uplift others. I have loved camping with my TREX unit and volunteering at GirlJam 2024! I am super excited to offer new experiences to others by being a member of the 2024-2025 Ontario and Nunavut Youth Forum! Outside of Guides, you can find me playing on a field hockey team, obsessing over a sci-fi novel or coming up with crazy school assembly ideas!”
Aibhlin R..
“Hello! My name is Aibhlin and I am a first-year Ranger and grade 10 student. This is my first year on Youth Forum, and I cannot wait to begin working with the other amazing members in the Girl Guides community. My favourite part of Girl Guides is building friendships with other passionate girls, exploring our interests together. My 11 years of Guiding have allowed me to build confidence as well, and I am ecstatic to have an opportunity to bring that experience to other girls. I love to read, especially science non-fiction and mysteries. I am also a high diver, competing at the provincial level, and enjoy being outdoors, hiking, kayaking and camping. I am extremely passionate about climate justice, being a member of my school’s environmental club, and social justice. I hope to bring these perspectives to Youth Forum, making Girl Guides a greener and more equitable environment!”
Kyra G.
“Hi my name is Kyra! I have been in Girl Guides since Sparks, so 13 years! This is my first year on Youth Forum. I am 17 years old going into my third year of Rangers. I have always loved Girl Guides and being able to make so many memories. My unit just got back from white water rafting in Ottawa, which is something I will always remember. I love camping and being outdoors. Girl Guides has helped build me into who I am today. I also volunteer with an Ember unit which I absolutely love! Being able to help those girls love themselves is such an amazing experience, while watching them create their own memories. I am a member of student council and I am a part of the tennis club, soccer team and I enjoy playing volleyball. In my free time I like hanging out with my friends, going to my boxing classes, hiking, spending time with my dog and going to my cottage! I am honored to have this opportunity to help shape the future of Girl Guides!”

Nyah C.
“Hello everyone! I’m Nyah, a third-year Ranger and 12th-grade student. My Girl Guides journey began with me persistently convincing my parents to let me join, and I’ve been passionately involved in Girl Guides for 11 wonderful years. This is my first year on Youth Forum and I’m thrilled to become a part of this incredible community, share my experiences and embark on new adventures! I have a wide range of interests, including photography, reading, rugby and science, and I also happen to be a lifeguard. I’m especially interested in equity and diversity within the healthcare system and hope to make an impact some day. Over the years, I’ve gathered many wonderful memories and stories from my Girl Guides experiences. They have helped me grow as a person and meet many incredible people. I’m excited to continue sharing this passion with fellow Guiders and helping them have similar experiences.”
Katie M.
“Hi everyone! I’m Katie and I am beyond excited for my first year on Youth Forum. I’m a third-year Pathfinder in Ontario and I’m heading into my 10th year of Girl Guides! Girl Guides has taught me so much about respect, leadership and teamwork which makes me even more excited to give back to the sisterhood through Youth Forum. As of right now I’m a recipient of the Lady Baden-Powell Award as well as the Citizenship Award and I’m currently working towards the Canada Cord. When I’m not Guiding or in school, it’s a safe bet that I’ll be at the theater rehearsing for my next show or volunteering with stage management! Besides theater, I love reading, crocheting, being outside and listening to Taylor Swift in my spare time. I am SO looking forward to sharing the voice of youth and seeing what Ontario and Nunavut Youth Forum can accomplish this year!”
