NL Bring a Friend Crests fall 2026

Guiding is always better with friends! Invite friends and classmates to join your unit for a fun-filled meeting and discover what Guiding is all about. The Bring-a-Friend Toolkit on Member Zone has everything you need to get started, including caregiver email templates, printable invitations and activity suggestions. You can also request a registration page for your event by submitting the Bring a Friend Event Planning Form.

NL Council is offering free crests to NL units who participate in a Bring-a-Friend event!
• Host a Bring-a-Friend event: Units or Districts that hold a Bring-a-Friend event between October and December 2026 can receive free crests.
• Celebrate participation: After your event, order the One More Adventure, One More Memory crest for members who invited a friend, or for all members who participated.
• Celebrate a new member: If a participating girl or adult joins your unit, email nl-crests@girlguides.ca to request the One More Friend add-on crest. All new and existing members in the unit will receive the add-on crest.

Guiders in Newfoundland and Labrador can order promotional materials to promote Girl Guides at community events. There is no cost to units or districts for swag being used at recruitment and other community events. Organize an event and help us grow Girl Guides!
