About Peace River Area
Peace River Area includes the communities of Northwestern Alberta with 5 Districts, each District covers a number of communities in the Area
- Northern Borealis District (High Level/Fort Vermillion, Rainbow Lake, Manning, Dixonville)
- Lac Cardinal District (Peace River, Grimshaw)
- Heatherwood District (Edson, Hinton, Jasper)
- Pewapun District (High Prairie, Kinuso, MacLennan, Fahler)
- Wapiti Meadows District (Spirit River, Grande Prairie, Wembley, Grovedale, Grande Cache)
Girl Guides of Canada is the largest organization for girls and women in Canada. Guiding today is a product of 100 years of history. It's fun, active and relevant to the girls and women of today.
Guiding Units around Peace River Area are doing amazing things and having great adventures! These activities are girl-driven and help ensure that Girls are ready to face the world today and meet the challenges of tomorrow with confidence.
